Your Role With Us: As a Patient Access Dispatcher at Salem Health, your role would involve coordinating the daily operations of the department by assigning personnel to specific work areas and ensuring that all projects are completed efficiently and according to departmental standards. You would monitor response times and productivity, ensuring a clean, organized, and professional environment for both staff and patients. Your duties would include attending staff meetings, supporting the manager in achieving financial goals, and fostering a team-oriented culture of integrity and reliability. Customer service is a key aspect of the role, as you would ensure that requests are handled promptly, fostering positive relationships with patients, families, and staff. You would maintain accurate documentation, ensure staffing levels meet operational needs, and participate in safety protocols to uphold a safe and secure environment. Additionally, you would contribute to staff training by offering guidance, conducting training sessions, and helping to select and develop team members to ensure high-quality performance across all dispatch activities. Experience in supporting a patient care environment strongly PREFFERED.Minimum one (1) year healthcare experience REQUIREDExperience in Dispatch desired.
