Air Liquide Large Industries provides our customers with industrial gas and energy solutions that are vital to their own industrial production. We own and operate over 2,000 miles of industrial gas pipelines in the U.S. supplying mainly oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen and syngas in large quantities from multiple production sources to major customers in the chemicals, petrochemicals, refining and steel industries. Our pipeline operations and industrial gas production facilities are closely monitored 24/7 within our leading-edge operations control center located in Houston, Texas. Our operations control group monitors over 89,000 data points and assists with product supply and coordination. We are constantly optimizing our supply network to provide high reliability and energy efficiencies allowing Air Liquide to adjust supply needs more quickly and effectively enabling growth to our customers.
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
The LI NAM FIT Primary Production Initiatives Analyst will support the FIT Program Deployment, Strategic Programs, and Reliability Roadmap efforts within the LI NAM Industrial Direction Department. The position will assist departments and managers with analysis, presentations, cost tracking/reporting, program updates, and executive summaries.
Efficiency Analysis and Reporting
Perform SMART reporting for the FIT Primary Production Value Initiatives program. Accountable for the efficiency data in Intelex and validating monthly to ensure accuracy and completeness of data submittals. This includes correcting historical data to ensure comparable BHP tracking and analysis. Monitor BHP for all sites in LI NAM and report status to the organization regularly to address sites where BHP is below target. This includes working closely with the LEAD Center and Efficiency Teams on analysis and reporting of BHP, monthly efficiencies, and research or explanation of anomalies. Quarterly reporting to the Group FIT program
FIT Primary Production Value Initiative Deployment
Consolidate and own the FIT Primary Production master action plan. Update the overall project action plans, priorities, and status updates utilizing Google Sheets format and transferring summary information to the Group NEXT program. Work closely with FIT deployment teams, manager, and VP Industrial Direction on prioritization of action plans, assigned responsibilities, and to develop updates for management on program status. Support FIT deployment teams with data analysis, data gathering, file organization on shared drive, templates development/management, and access rights management. Maintain and report on required KPIs for the FIT program
Strategic Programs Project Cost Tracking and Reporting
Manage purchasing process for Strategic Projects to include submitting purchase requisitions, receiving/reconciling invoices, and submitting required journal entries. Analyze project cost reports and track project budgets vs. validated capital approved. Provide updates as required and assist in development of Strategic Programs status reports and quarterly Reliability Roadmap management reviews. Write and manage the ACE approval process for Strategic Programs. Responsible for closing out projects once completed and requesting capitalization.
Relationship Building
Develop beneficial working relationships with key interface groups in order to maximize knowledge base and identify opportunities Develop positive internal relationships with Group Industrial Direction, LI NAM Industrial Direction, LEAD Center, SIO Center, Operations, Financial Control, and others as needed. Share knowledge and experiences within the group and internally

BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering required 3+ years ASU or HyCO engineering or plant operations experience required Ability to interpret, analyze, and communicate ASU and Hyco technical efficiency calculations Solution-oriented, with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills Good verbal and written communication skills Ability to perform under stress and time constraints Comfortable in both corporate and field environments Ability to effectively work within a diverse, international organization Advanced skills with Google suite of tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, etc.) Excellent organization skills and attention to detail Up to 10% domestic travel
