We are currently hiring for: Job Title Truck Driver Job Summary: Truck Driver position is responsible for operating a semi-tractor trailer to move product, equipment, or materials in Michigan, Illinois and Iowa locations. Ability to be home daily. Compensation Detail: Hourly rate of pay is between $24.75 - $26.95 per hour depending on years of experience. Job Responsibilities Operate semi-tractor trailer to move product, equipment, or materials in Michigan, Illinois and/or Iowa locations. Checking vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order. Maneuvering trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew and checking that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned. Collecting delivery instructions from appropriate sources, verifying instructions and routes. Maintaining logs of working hours or of vehicle service or repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations. Reporting vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles. Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Must have a Class A CDL and be able to maintain this certification/license. Must be able to drive interstate between Michigan, Illinois or Iowa. Tanker endorsement is required. Previous experience is required. Minimum of 2 years of tractor-trailer experience is preferred. Must be able to communicate in English. Must have and maintain a good driving record. Must be able to problem solve. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment. Must be able to work extended hours and weekends if needed. Ability to adjust quickly to changing demands.
