The Director of Quality is responsible for creating, implementing and maintaining a vision and plan for providing quality clinical outcomes to patients in collaboration with the leadership team and other employees. Director of Quality Job Responsibilities Oversees assigned department or functional area to ensure it is performing effectively, which may include but not limited to, preparing and implementing business strategy to achieve the organization's goals, ensuring legal compliance, communicating and collaborating with stakeholders, managing employment decisions and contributions of supporting team members, and managing departmental budget and fiscal success. Provides onsite leadership and support for regulatory surveys including organizational responses to compliance issues and follow up needed to demonstrate ongoing compliance. Forms partnerships with relevant leaders/staff and facilitates connections, coordination and improvement focus with internal customers and teams related to patient safety, regulatory and infection prevention. Develops and produces customized outcome reports and analyses to meet the needs of various audiences including staff, administration, medical staff and governance leaders. Interacts with external quality or safety organizations, including professional and governmental organizations, to achieve desired quality, safety and regulatory outcomes. Provides project management leadership for multiple projects as evidenced by project planning, problem resolution, change control and quality improvement initiatives to produce and sustain desired outcomes. Implements performance improvement, safety and regulatory programs. Identifies opportunities to improve operational efficiency. Director of Quality Minimum Requirements 5 years of related professional experience (working on qualilty teams, projects or initiatives) two years of management experience Bachelor's degree in relevant field (or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree) Director of Quality Preferred Qualifications Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent Cardiac experience highly preferred *This is an on-site role with work from home flexibility
