Summary:
Performs basic to moderately complex administrative tasks required to obtain and review proposal packages. Familiarity with mechanical custom build to print products; experienced with products and associated documentation packages.

Responsibilities:
*Review proposal packages for completeness and interface with responsible functional groups to facilitate receipt of missing documentation/information
*Send Request for Quotes (RFQ's) to bidders, obtaining the lowest competitive pricing
*Review responses, benchmarking to historical purchase activity, quote history and alternate sourcing
*Source alternate parts for cost reduction opportunities
*Perform final analysis of package and deliver to financial group within prescribed time commitments
*Distribute proposal information to respective buyers at time of business award
*Work on more difficult quotes for larger customers with greater degree of activity
*Work under moderate supervision, able to make some day-to-day decisions based on own judgment
*May give direction and mentoring to lower level employees in the same job family
*All employees are responsible for the Quality of their work to ensure BEI meets, or exceeds Customer Satisfaction.

*Demonstrated ability to work effectively with suppliers or customers
*Working knowledge of productivity tools, including Microsoft Office products and WebEx conferencing software
*Understanding of and ability to use continuous improvement tools
*Ability to travel up to 5% of the time, including day and overnight travel as required
*Participate in a continuous improvement activity with complete documentation, including a follow up review with the team in a presentation format
* 2+ years of experience with more complex negotiations/larger accounts

Education:
* 2 Year Associates degree in Business or equivalent combination of education and experience as approved by executive management

Full Time

Compensation Range: $55,434.00 to $83,151.00 USD Many factors are considered in compensation decisions, including but not limited to skills, certifications, licensures, experience, training, incumbent data, and other business needs.
