Qualifications Education: High School diploma or equivalent.Graduate of an AMA accredited school of Radiation Therapy with a minimum Associate's Degree. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Experience: One year experience as a Radiation Therapist desired. License(s)/Certification(s): Current Illinois Emergency Management Agency/Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety (IEMA) license to practice Radiation Therapy. Current American Registry of Radiological Technologists (AART) certification required to practice Radiation Therapy. Current CPR certification required to practice. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of applying ionizing radiation for treatment of patients with cancer. Possesses appropriate knowledge of age specific criteria for dealing with adult and geriatric populations. Other: Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position. *Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, internal equity, and other business needs. The salary range listed does not include other forms of compensation which may include bonuses/incentive, differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits that may be applicable to this role. |
