In this role, you will deliver specialized expertise within the People & Organizational Performance practice in North America, and serve as a trusted advisor across a broad set of clients.

Who You'll Work With
You'll work in our Seattle office as part of our People & Organizational Performance (POP) practice. Our POP practice focuses on equipping people and organizations to unleash sustained performance with the backing of the right structures, systems, and skills.
Your impact within our firm
You will work in teams of typically 3-5 consultants, using your strong base of expertise in organizational performance to solve some of the most pressing and complex issues at clients.
Your work will include both client service and knowledge building within the POP practice. While supporting clients, you will be expected to leverage your expertise to develop insights & recommendations, own part or all of the workstream, oversee junior colleagues, and translate recommendations into realistic and pragmatic actions. You may also be responsible for presenting results to client management and implementing recommendations with client team members.
You'll have the opportunity to codify your knowledge base and further expand that of the practice; you will be expected to synthesize and share expertise with colleagues, help grow the practice's knowledge base and contribute to client development.
Your qualifications and skills
  • Bachelor degree with 4+ years work experience or advanced degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology (or related field) with 2+ years work experience in relevant field required
  • Strong base of expertise and consulting experience in topics related to human capital, organization design and development, strategic workforce and operational planning
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate/present effectively to senior level stakeholders
  • Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively and evidence of business acumen
  • Solid evidence of problem solving skills including the ability to analyze and synthesize information to develop hypotheses and actionable recommendations within your focused area of expertise
  • Ability to communicate effectively-both verbally and in writing-in English as well as the local office language (if applicable)
  • Ability to travel up to 80%

is $192,000 - $192,000 USD -to help you understand what you can expect. This reflects our best estimate of the lowest to highest
[salary/hourly wages] for this role at the time of this posting, ensuring you have a clear picture right from the start, though it's important
to remember that actual salaries may vary. Factors like your office location, your unique blend of experience and skills, start date and our current
organizational needs all play a part in determining the final figure. Certain roles are also eligible for bonuses, subject to McKinsey's discretion
and based on factors such as individual and/or organizational performance.
