EnSafe is accepting applications for a Health & Safety (H&S) Manager based out of EnSafe's GR2 Memphis, TN office.

EnSafe specializes in custom solutions in Environmental Management and Planning, Civil Design Engineering, Environmental Restoration, Natural & Water Resources, Health & Safety, and Technology with offices operating within the U.S.

GR2 is a wholly owned subsidiary of EnSafe Inc., specializing in remediation, demolition, decommissioning, abatement, and civil construction services.

What We Are Looking For

As a Health & Safety Manager, you will work on various projects in an environment that fosters creativity, collaboration at all levels, a culture of support, and professional growth. EnSafe/GR2 emphasizes empowering staff to practice our profession passionately and without limitations.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Serving as the corporate Health and Safety officer for GR2.
  • Developing and complying with company policies, conducting internal health and safety classroom training, as well as training on EPA, DOT, and OSHA regulations.
  • Collaborating to create site-specific health and safety plans, conducting on-site safety inspections and audits, as well as leading accident investigation processes.
  • Assisting and leading with remediation, demolition, decommissioning, abatement, and civil construction services for various clients across the country

What You'll Need:

  • Minimum of five years of documented experience in Environmental / Industrial Service / Construction
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a strong work ethic
  • Strong work ethic, responsible, and dependable
  • Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively
  • Commitment to quality, accuracy, and diligence
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 50% of the time

Ideally, you'll also have...

  • Experience with heavy equipment safety
  • 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification
  • Completion of professional safety certifications (CHST, OHST) and OSHA OTI 500 and 501 courses
  • Professional certifications such as CSP are preferred
