What We Do Working with business departments, drive process improvement through seeking out and identifying opportunities and business process definition by defining and documenting processes and procedures. Assess and document training needs, communicate existence of new process. Document business processes, training procedures, standard operating procedures, project status, etc. Oversee projects for business departments and/or act as a liaison/strategic partner between FAC and government entities, vendors, corporations and other FA divisions to define business processes and/or generate, update and create various products and services. When new processes are identified, may drive implementation or hand off to Project Management Team for implementation. Strong mentor and leader; regularly leads projects / functions / processes. Projects are wide ranging; broad experience allows for in-depth problem solving and creative solutions; Internal and external interactions are broad and extensive.

HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE

  • Regularly leads and manages a wide range of projects and functions with cross functional dependencies
  • Regularly instructs, directs and mentors other Business Analysts and team members.
  • Conducts business process evaluations to gain deep knowledge of complex business requirements.
  • Identifies problems, defines process requirements, negotiates for resources, develops creative solutions, gains consensus, tests to confirm, and drives implementation over a wide ranging, complete business process.
  • Manage reporting and documentation process, adjusting plans and schedules as required.
  • Manage risk against business needs
  • Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Required Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure

  • Typically requires BS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Typically 7+ years of directly related experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSAs)

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to identify broad issues, interview and formulate questions in order to identify and articulate complex business processes across functional lines
  • Strong diagnostic and analytical skills to identify issues and drive appropriate solutions
  • Considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in order to define business and technical parameters and lead teams
  • Strong business acumen
