General Summary....

The Production is responsible for the performance of a variety of Production support activities across all the Operational functional areas. This includes supporting the Operational areas regarding data-entry, process exception resolution and management, product exception management, in-process auditing, shipping and receiving inventory into WMS, physically preparing receipts and shipment activities, and production and receiving validation tasks. They will record and keep records of incoming and outgoing shipments along with interact with WMS in completing those transactions. They will perform validation checks on shipments or inbound deliveries against shipping invoices or bills of lading for completeness and accuracy. Position is responsible for maintaining standards of safety, accuracy, and productivity.

This position will be responsible for.....

  • Prepare products to be received or shipped from warehouse both physically and systematically.
  • Match actual product to associated documentation; file records and record transactions in WMS.
  • Test to validate software and functionality of repaired devices and reassemble.
  • Document, inspect and assess performance and/or appearance to repair and/or restore to original state.
  • Perform production validations on Operational processes.
  • Perform a variety of research and exception resolution tasks.
  • Prepare and distribute routine production and activity reports.
  • Respond to internal and external requests for information regarding receiving/shipping data or issues.
  • Perform work safely and in accordance with company and customer standards and safety regulations.
  • Perform additional related duties in the department.

Education/Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent and one (1) year of related data processing experience, ideally within a distribution center environment
  • 2-4 years of experience involved in performing work in a warehouse/clerical environment that requires the use of various warehouse/clerical practices
  • PC skills required (Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office (EXCEL, WORD)
  • Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) equipment is preferred
  • Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail and flexibility in meeting deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer service driven
  • Strong team player
