City/State Chesapeake, VA Overview Work Shift Rotating (United States of America) Sentara Greenbrier HealthPlex is hiring a Radiology Services Coordinator for the Advanced Imaging Center. Department/Position Overview: The Advanced Imaging Center at Sentara Greenbrier HealthPlex provides a convenient, modern option to outpatient radiology procedures, with the latest technology and staff radiologists who offer sub-specialist expertise. Every detail, from the facility's design to personnel training, focuses on patient comfort, convenience and reassurance. *Hours/Shift:* Office is open 6:30am to 6pm and rotating Saturdays. This position is part-time - Flexi-Pool. In this role, you will be responsible and accountable for: Responsible for the order entry process Communication and guest relations Medical record maintenance/analysis Responsible for transporting, lifting, positioning of patients, and various non-technical/clerical duties Demonstrate competency in the operation of radiologic systems for the management and transfer of digital images to complex media and converting images on film to digital formats Minimum Requirements: Education : High School Grad or Equivalent Licenses and Certifications: Basic Life Support Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a medical environment preferred Skills: Communication, Critical Thinking, Microsoft Office, Speaking, Technology/Computer, Writing Keywords: Indeed-medical assistants, medical administrative assistants; Talroo -allied health Job Summary Responsible for the order entry process, communication and guest relations, medical record maintenance/analysis, responsible for transporting, lifting, positioning of patients, and various non-technical/clerical duties.
