Overview

SCCI is seeking a motivated Scheduler to join our team our team! In this position, you will provide scheduling support to a fast-paced Weapon System Program. This position is available for immediate hire and located in Dahlgren, VA.

Responsibilities:



  • Develop, document, maintain, and analyze multiple project sub-schedules and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) using Microsoft Project
  • Act as a facilitator throughout the schedule development process, and over the course of the engineering life cycle, by engaging with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with project leadership, key stakeholders, and multi-disciplinary engineering teams to understand program milestones, plans, and resource requirements
  • Maintain and update Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Organizational Breakdown Structures (OBS), schedule plans, and baselines
  • Conduct schedule risk assessments, variance analysis, progress monitoring, and critical path analysis
  • Prepare and present schedule documentation and reports for stakeholders and leadership at all levels of development



Essential Skills and Experience:



  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret Security Clearance
  • High School Diploma
  • At least one (1) year of experience in project schedule development using industry-standard tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
