Primary Duties

1. Ensures that accounting policies and processes comply with Sarbanes-Oxley rules and regulations.

2. Assists in the management of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance process, including 404 process documentation, reporting, testing and administration.

3. Research, develop, and implement improvements to the efficiency and effectiveness of key business processes and internal control procedures. Continually monitor efficiency, effectiveness and use of procedures/controls to properly record transactions in compliance with SOX and GAAP.

4. Provide support on issues relating to Sarbanes-Oxley, internal controls, remediation advice, and other compliance areas as requested.

5. Prepare, analyze and verify reports, financial statements and other records to support internal and external audit efforts.

6. Working knowledge of internal control requirements, Generally Accepted Accounting Principals, and accounting processes.

7. Working knowledge of accounting systems access and program changes comply with Sarbanes-Oxley rules and regulations.

8. Performs economic and business analyses on special projects and proposals submitted to various Company departments. Interfaces with management as a strategic resource in determining the appropriate analytical approach, preparing statistical analyses and interpreting results.

9. Assists in the management of accounting projects

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE LEVEL:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration and four years accounting/auditing; or
2. Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration and three years accounting/auditing experience; and
3. CPA Preferred

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
Requires the ability to communicate, persuade and/or influence internal and/or external customers at a high level such as senior management on matters of a technical and/or complex nature.

NUMERIC SKILLS:
Requires the ability to perform to perform algebraic, trigonometric and geometric operations and/or moderately complex statistical and/or accounting methods.

COMPUTER SKILLS:
Requires advanced knowledge of various software applications to create documents, reports and/or graphics.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Requires occasionally performing activities including, but not limited to, bending, stooping, grasping, reaching, twisting, turning and/or lifting.

WORK CONDITIONS:
Works in an office environment.
