Sr. Associate - (Java/ Springboot/ Microservices)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with 10 to 13 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Springboot Microservices Spring WebFlux Spring REST Spring Integration Spring JPA Spring Framework Java 11 and Java 8. This role involves working in a hybrid model with a day shift. The candidate will contribute to developing and maintaining robust applications that drive our business forward.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality applications using Springboot Microservices Spring WebFlux Spring REST Spring Integration Spring JPA and Spring Framework.
• Utilize Java 11 and Java 8 to write efficient scalable and maintainable code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality organization and automation.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain current and competitive.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and methodologies.
• Ensure that all development work is carried out in accordance with the companys policies and procedures.
• Support the deployment and monitoring of applications in a production environment.

Qualifications

• Must have strong experience in Springboot Microservices Spring WebFlux Spring REST Spring Integration Spring JPA and Spring Framework.
• Must be proficient in Java 11 and Java 8.
• Nice to have experience in KYC/Document Review Loan Processing and Commercial Lending domains.
• Must have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Must have strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Must be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model.

Certifications Required

Spring Professional Certification Oracle Certified Professional Java SE 11 Developer

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until Jan 22, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $90,000 - $116,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
