Student Lab Assistant - Sonography
Position Overview: The Diagnostic Medical Sonography lab assistant supports students by helping them practice scanning techniques, ensures proper lab cleaning and maintenance procedures (e.g., vacuum filters, disinfection of labs), and inventories and ensures adequate supplies (e.g., ultrasound gel, gloves, laundering towels).
Essential Duties:
- Supports open lab hours as a resource for students practicing skills
- Ensures proper lab cleaning and maintenance procedures (e.g., vacuums ultrasound machine filters, disinfection of labs)
- Inventories and ensures adequate supplies (e.g., ultrasound gel, gloves, laundering towels)
- Other non specified lab related tasks assigned by the faculty
