Job Highlights

The Process Controls Technology (PCT) Engineer is responsible for the installation, start-up, and troubleshooting of new instruments. The incumbent will be the site's point of contact for vendors who are supporting instrument activities.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead instrument calibration and tuning activities.
  • Lead or support instrument troubleshooting activities.
  • Lead implementation of new instrumentation technologies.
  • Oversee vendor calibration, tuning, and combustion testing activities for process heating systems.
  • Oversee vendor inspections of high-voltage equipment.
  • Investigate DCS instrumentation issues.
  • Provide guidance to Maintenance E&I Technicians.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
  • A minimum of three years industry experience with familiarity with industrial electrical systems of 480 volts of less.
  • Knowledge of field instrumentation and chemical process control.
  • Knowledge of process control strategies and systems.
  • Knowledge of relevant standards in the area of process control, low voltage electrical, and instrumentation.

The established pay range for this position is $94,700.00to $126,200.00. Please note, the actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level.
