Summary Participates in training program for Nurse Practitioners. Required to be a licensed NP. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions -Completes clinical rotations in hospital. -Functions as an NP in department of rotations. -Provides patient diagnosis and treatment. -Writes prescriptions following hospital guidelines. -Attends lectures, trainings, and other educational opportunities. No Licenses and Credentials Nurse Practitioner [NP] / Advanced Practice Registered Nurse [APRN]-MA Experience Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Strong interpersonal communication skills. - Ability to exercise initiative, problem solving, and decision-making in emergency situations. - Talking to others to convey information effectively. - Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making. - Ability to maintain situational awareness and respond appropriately to emergency situations in clinical and inpatient settings.
