POSITION OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES

The HR Business Partner is directly responsible for supporting leaders and employees, serving as a consultant to business leaders and partner with the entire HR team to advance KFIs people priorities. KFI's mission is to provide the best possible experience for our employees, following the core values of the company. This role is crucial to building strategies to improve the employee experience, work culture, deeply understand the needs of our employees and enable managers to effectively lead their business. The HR Business Partner will develop people and culture strategic objectives in alignment with business and growth strategies.

This role will provide leadership with a heavy project management focus in these areas:

  1. Talent Management
  2. Onboarding
  3. Learning and Development
  4. Safety, Policy, and Compliance
  5. Engagement

In this role, you will report directly to the Director of Human Resources and partner closely with the Senior Leadership Team to support the creation of a world-class employee experience with streamlining and simplicity top of mind. You will embrace continuous improvement, new ideas and programs, and serve as a thought partner for a strong employee culture.

Specific responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Project Management: Maps current HR processes end-to-end and creates plans that lead to lasting ideal states
  • Talent Management: Lead and partner in a multi-office, national organization and assist with assessing, hiring, engaging, and retaining for talent succession.
  • Onboarding: Enhances and automates new employee onboarding experience. Supports weekly onboarding needs and activities.
  • Engagement: Facilitates a bi-annual company-wide engagement survey process and builds plans to address employee needs.
  • Learning and Development: Creates new managerial capability and skills-based training offerings.
  • Safety, Policy, and Compliance: Leads client's safety compliance portals and unique needs, creates new policies and enhances KFI's employee handbook, and ensures the company has met all federal and state compliance requirements.
  • Translates organizational strategies into "people initiatives" and action plans.
  • Supports and provides guidance on career development, succession planning, and leadership development.
  • Supports the entire HR team and other annual processes such as salary review, variable compensation, and annual open enrollment as needed.
  • Helps manage the complete administrative life cycle of employees, from onboarding to departure.
  • Collaborates as a point of contact to employees of all levels, to understand their goals and develop HR strategies that align with and support their objectives.
  • Improve HR processes to positively impact our employee experience (streamline the existing, propose new ones when appropriate, issue and review tools, templates, checklists, etc.).

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience.
  • Highly effective communication skills with the ability to synthesize ideas and present them in a poised & polished manner.
  • Life-long learner who possesses a style and approach that is positive, proactive, thoughtful, empathetic, collaborative, organized and action-oriented.
  • Record of scaling teams and organizations and transformative environments.
  • Proven track record of implementing innovative solutions at an enterprise level.
  • Expertise in interpreting and leveraging data analytics to drive strategy and decision making.
  • Experience consulting with executive stakeholders, leveraging strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to build credibility across a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Experience executing large scale programs with a focus on talent centric and digitally forward solutions.

Preferred

  • Masters in Organizational Leadership, Masters in Organizational Development, or Masters in Business Administration.
  • SHRM-SCP or equivalent certification.

Working Conditions

  • May include up to 25% domestic travel.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000. The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual qualifications, experience, work location, and education. This position is eligible for an annual bonus.
