Are you an experienced Sales Leader ready to make a significant impact?

Amplity is looking for a dynamic leader to drive the growth of our short-cycle businesses-Learning, and Medical Communications-within our New Client Partnerships organization. Reporting directly to the Chief Growth Officer, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and managing a high-performing sales team to identify and close new business opportunities. Your leadership will empower the team to exceed sales targets while fostering collaboration with key internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and success across the organization. Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Coaching:

  • Lead, mentor, and coach a team of sales colleagues to align with organizational goals, driving performance and exceeding targets.
  • Foster a high-performance culture through ongoing development and regular feedback to enhance motivation and team engagement.

Sales Planning & Execution:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to set clear targets and goals for generating new business and expanding accounts.
  • Enforce sales strategies, call planning, and opportunity qualification to ensure alignment and take corrective actions when necessary.

Sales Support & Closing:

  • Assist sales team in closing sales and managing strategic accounts, ensuring senior-level engagement and guiding them through key sales pursuits when needed.

Pipeline & Opportunity Management:

  • Set achievable pipeline targets, providing support and resources to help sales colleagues grow and manage their opportunities.
  • Regularly assess lead quality and sales forecasts to ensure sustained growth.
  • Monitor team progress against goals and report on performance, pipeline growth, and business impact to senior leadership

Talent Development & Resource Optimization:

  • Effectively manage resources to maximize performance and identify opportunities for skill development and career growth within the team.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in sales or business development, with at least 5-8 years in a leadership or management role, 10+ years or more leadership experience preferred.
  • Proven experience in managing and coaching sales teams to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and provide actionable insights for improvement.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Residence in the Eastern or Central time zone near a major airport preferred
