SUMMARY:

As a senior IT network analyst, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting the IT infrastructure of the company, including servers, networks, cloud services, and security systems. You will also provide technical support and guidance to other IT staff and users, and collaborate with other departments and external vendors to ensure the optimal performance and availability of the IT systems.

Responsibilities

    Install, configure, and update hardware and software components of the IT infrastructure, such as servers, routers, switches, firewalls, backup systems, antivirus, and operating systems.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance, reliability, and security of the IT systems, using various tools and techniques.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex IT issues, and escalate them to the senior IT engineer or the IT manager when necessary.
  • Provide technical support and training to other IT staff and users, and document the IT procedures and policies.
  • Research and evaluate new IT solutions and technologies, and make recommendations for improvement and innovation.
  • Manage and maintain the inventory and documentation of the IT assets and licenses.
  • Coordinate and execute IT projects, such as migrations, upgrades, integrations, and deployments.
  • Ensure compliance with the IT standards and best practices, and follow the IT security policies and procedures.


Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • Bachelor's degree (B.Sc. or B. Eng.) from four-year college or university; or a minimum of five plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 1 year experience within an environment using Network and Telecommunications technologies.
  • Advanced knowledge and skills in Windows and Linux server administration, network administration, cloud services (such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), and IT security.

  • Proficiency in scripting languages (such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python), and automation tools (such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef).

  • Experience in managing and supporting Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, and Office 365.

  • Experience in working with virtualization technologies (such as VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM), and container technologies (such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift).

  • Experience in working with database systems (such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL), and web servers (such as Apache, IIS, or Nginx).

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Experience in working with monitoring and troubleshooting tools (such as Nagios, Zabbix, Splunk, or Wireshark).

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
