Job Summary:

The Operations Coordinator at National Pavement Partners plays a crucial role in supporting the successful execution of our pavement projects. Your responsibilities include assisting the Operations Manager with staffing the production side, project planning, coordinating resources, monitoring project progress, and ensuring effective communication between departments. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced construction environment are vital to our continued success.



Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

    Develop and manage project schedules to ensure timely completion of paving and concrete projects.
  • Coordinate with field teams to facilitate daily operations, including resource allocation and task prioritization.
  • Assist in managing purchase orders, tracking materials, and ensuring timely delivery to job sites.
  • Oversee subcontractor work by monitoring progress, addressing issues, and ensuring compliance with project standards.
  • Maintain clear communication with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to align expectations and resolve operational challenges.
  • Provide administrative support, including documentation, reporting, and record-keeping for projects and operations.
  • Assist with safety as needed.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assist with Ad hoc responsibilities and requirements when needed.
  • Verify and ensure accuracy with field hours/payroll.
  • Work closely with Operations Manager.


Qualifications (Experience, Education & Certifications, Key Attributes):

  • Previous experience in construction, paving, concrete, and/or dispatching operations is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to problem-solve and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of purchase orders, subcontracting, and construction processes is a plus.
  • Associates degree in Business Administration or Project Management preferred but not required.
  • Bi-lingual with Spanish is required.
