CAS is currently seeking an Internal Communication Specialist . This position will be located in our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.

Job Summary:

The Internal Communication Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing outreach strategies that elevate the CAS brand and achieve organizational growth goals. This position works with colleagues throughout CAS to ensure employees stay informed and up-to-date with all company strategies, goals, projects, news, and plans. The incumbent will bring a proven record of creating engaging communications that drive measurable impacts to a global workforce.

Job Accountabilities:



  • Develop, manage, and implement internal communication strategies and tactics in support of business objectives that reflect the company's mission, values, brand, priorities and programs and initiatives that support company culture.
  • Create, edit, and integrate effective, relevant, and consistent employee messaging aligned to goals, strategic plans, the role of employees in advancing our mission and to recap events, convey key messages and highlight company stories to colleagues.
  • Develop company messaging around people and culture, and work with communications partners to align across the enterprise.
  • Create a foundation for executive presentations, corporate messaging, and development of executive communication with employees or other stakeholders as needed
  • Demonstrate and apply advanced knowledge of communications principles, methodologies, and technologies
  • Apply critical thinking skills to help conceptualize topics and methods for communicating topics to target audiences
  • Continuously evaluate existing communications strategies and refine as needed.
  • Other duties as required


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or Journalism
  • 5+ years of internal communications experience
  • Experience with communications KPI measurements and reporting tools
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with a working knowledge of intranet tools
  • Experience leading and executing internal communications strategies on a global scale
  • Skilled storyteller who communicates in concise, compelling, and persuasive ways across formats - formal and informal, written and verbal
  • Demonstrated superior written and verbal communication skills and an analytical mindset with a variety of stakeholders, including company leadership
  • High degree of empathy and emotional intelligence to understand how communication will be received by different employee segments.
  • Ability to partner with leaders and subject matter experts to multi-task and flexibly manage multiple projects with competing priorities and shifting time frames
  • Ability to prioritize and operate independently and strategically with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of impactful design and layout of communications materials
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Self-directed, action-oriented, detail-oriented, collaborative
  • Ability to quickly develop fluency in company language and narratives.
  • Skilled at building relationships cross functionally and leading through influence.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to see the big picture and manage details simultaneously.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion about sensitive information.
  • Adaptable and resilient with the ability to navigate change effectively.
