Overview

Position:Senior IT Business Analyst
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Salary Range: $106,700 - $116,700 per year
Clearance: Clearable to Q

Our IT services department is trusted and dedicated to being a true IT partner to all of our customers by providing tailored, innovative technology solutions, and unparalleled customer service. We strive to understand the unique needs of our National Laboratory mission organizations and work collaboratively to design and deliver specialized information systems solutions that drive their success.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise in business process and system analysis, design, improvement, and implementation efforts and in translating business process needs into technical requirements. Will manage a variety of IT related projects
  • Responsible for developing and managing customer relationships
  • Manage the internal discovery process to include customer interaction, technical evaluation, and recommendations for the customer's environment
  • Evaluate and implement process changes to improve IT services for our customers
  • Create, monitor and execute customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Candidate will lead operations associated with our mission focused service desk, back-office support for BI initiatives, scheduling, customer interaction and communication, reporting, requirements gathering.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT related field and 7 years of experience managing IT projects in a large environment.
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain a DOE Q clearance
    • Candidate can start uncleared, but must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance

Required Skills:

  • IT Business Analyst and Project Manager experience with a BS/BA and 7 experience managing IT Projects in a large environment
  • Candidate MUST have previous hands-on experience supporting desktop, server, networking, OT, or integrating technology solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Successfully managed large IT Projects from creation through implementation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have experience managing customer relationships
  • Must have experience managing the day-to-day operations of IT support team
  • Experience evaluating and making recommendations to improve a departments IT Technologies and then execute the implementation of the recommendations
  • Experience supporting a large IT organization

Work will be performed both onsite and offsite so some telecommuting is allowable, but candidate must reside in the Albuquerque area.

Desired Skills:

  • Strong technical writing experience
  • Previous experience working directly with higher level managers to obtain business requirements.
