The Ideal Candidate

The Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Investor Relations (IR) will lead financial planning and analysis functions and the development of an effective investor communications strategy to support the company's strategic growth and long-term vision. This role partners closely with executive leadership, operating division leaders, and internal finance teams to deliver robust financial forecasts and plans, while also managing relationships with investors and analysts to position the business for sustained success.

How You Will Make an Impact:

• Lead the development of accurate and comprehensive monthly financial forecasts, as well as one-year and long-range financial plans, integrating financial projections across divisions into a consolidated plan.
• Analyze projections and plans to identify improvement opportunities, operational efficiencies, and areas for return on investment.
• Partner with operational leaders to provide critical financial analysis, leveraging data to support business decisions related to growth initiatives, real estate, cost analysis, and other key opportunity areas.
• Establish financial planning approaches, guidelines, and metrics across all business units, while maintaining a deep understanding of competitive landscapes and market trends.
• Evaluate and prepare financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives, including acquisitions and other growth opportunities.
• Develop and execute an effective investor communications strategy that articulates the company's long-term growth and business strategy.
• Prepare and deliver materials for earnings processes, including presentations, supporting documents, and peer analyses.
• Build and maintain relationships with investors and industry analysts to position the business effectively and understand external perspectives.
• Monitor and analyze industry developments, competitive trends, and shareholder activities, providing executive summaries and insights for senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
• Partner with finance, corporate communications, and other internal stakeholders to ensure consistent, integrated external and internal messaging aligned with the company's strategic narrative.
• Support the CFO and executive leadership team in direct discussions with investors and other stakeholders.
• Anticipate investor questions and concerns, proactively developing thoughtful responses and messaging.
• Contribute to the development of Board-level presentations, market and competitive analyses, and evaluations of new business opportunities.
• Lead a high-performing, results-oriented FP&A and IR team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Experience and Skills You'll Need to Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related major.
• MBA preferred.
• 15-20+ years of strategic business planning experience, with global public companies with multiple lines of business and channels of distribution.
• Retail experience preferable.
• M&A experience preferable.
• Capital markets experience required.
• Strategic investor relations experience.
• Ability to effectively partner with cross-functional teams and influence senior level executives.
• Strong analytics and problem-solving skills.
• Highly developed oral and written communication/presentation skills, especially strong experience in shareholder messaging.
• Demonstrated results in improving business performance and developing financial analysis that provides business insight.
• Unquestioned integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, financial modeling and reporting, and advanced PowerPoint presentation skills.
