DevSecOps Engineer (Top Secret Clearance required)

IMG is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer with Azure or MuleSoft experience to join our team providing data solutions for our customer.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Integration Development: Design, develop, and implement modern cloud-based integration solutions using Azure Integration Services (Azure API Management, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid, Azure Synapse, and Power BI).

• On-Premises Integration Development: Design, develop, and implement on-premises integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform PCE, including API management, automation, orchestration, and Anypoint Design Center.

• Collaboration & Agile Development: Foster a highly collaborative environment that emphasizes speed, quality, and teamwork. Contribute to feature development within agile sprints, adhering to company standards and best practices.

• Solution Design & Documentation: Develop solutions that are structured, secure, well-documented, and thoroughly tested to meet business and security requirements.

• Proactive Participation: Actively participate in meetings with IT teams and management to ensure alignment and progress on objectives. Provide feedback and contribute to ongoing projects and security discussions.

• Continuous Learning & Knowledge Sharing: Demonstrate a proactive approach to solving challenges, and continuously seek to enhance your skills. Share knowledge and best practices with other team members to foster growth and collaboration within the team.

• Security Focus: Integrate security at every stage of development, ensuring secure coding practices and compliance with security standards and policies.

The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, or a related discipline, plus five (5) years or more of software development experience. Must have a DoD Top Secret clearance and:

• Three (3) years of experience with Azure Integration and/or MuleSoft AnyPoint technologies and five (5) years programming in building web applications in a cloud environment.
• Excellent understanding of the Agile software development and Scrum process.
• Strong organization and time management skills while working in a rapid software development environment.
• Demonstrated experience with implementing data integration solutions.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with some integration technologies such as Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, MuleSoft Data Weave 2.0, Log4J2, Java and Odata.
• Experience implementing an API centric transformation.
• Experience using Web architecture principles including REST, RAML, JSON, and XML.
• Understanding of database technologies including SQL and Oracle.
• Strong Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, design patterns, and algorithms.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Additional beneficial experience:

  * Experience with logging and monitoring, code deployment and automated testing tools such as:
  Azure using TERAFORM Infrastructure as code
  Azure Analytics Services
