Your Responsibilities as a Traveling Stormwater Inspector: Travel to client properties and conduct site inspections for post-construction stormwater control measures (SCM). Inspect and document the conditions of existing stormwater infrastructure and drainage systems (pipes, drains, manholes, retention ponds, etc). Read site plans and interpret in the field. Work independently and manage one's own routing and scheduling. Ensure safe work practices. Actively develop your own career growth. Understanding of drainage and stormwater management systems and designs. SCM inspection of existing infrastructure. Reading site plans and related drawings. Ability to work independently. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to use smart phones and tablets and applications. Ability to work in the field traveling throughout Florida and the continental United States about 70% of the time or more, including in a variety of weather conditions and walking through rough terrain. Stable employment history and favorable employment references. Track record of excellent attendance and punctuality.
