General Staff Accountant
Qualifications
Position Summary The Staff Accountant will be responsible for monitoring and tracking banking transactions to enable timely posting of general ledger entries and completion of accurate bank reconciliations. Also responsible for assisting Accounting Manager will other general ledger journal entries for the monthly closing process relating to cash remittances, disbursements, and accrued expenses. Bachelors of Accounting (required)
Experience
4 years: Bachelor's degree in accounting required or college education with emphasis on accounting and business administration curriculums.
Two to four years' experience as an accountant in a not-for-profit organization preferred as well as performing related administrative accounting functions. Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records (required) |
