Role: Assistant Director, HSSP Reports to: Director, HSSP Program: Housing Support Services Program (HSSP) Department: Mental Health Location: Wellness Center:345 S. San Pedro Street, Los Angeles, CA 90013 Setting: Outreach 20%/Field Based 30%/50% Office, Hybrid/Onsite, 100% WFH Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Status: Full Time/Part Time/Intern/Seasonal, non-management/management, non-exempt/exempt Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement Planning (403b), Employee Assistant Program (EAP), etc. Number of Openings: (if applicable) Summary The Assistant Director, the Housing Support Services Program (HSSP) in partnership with the Senior Director and Director, will oversee the HSSP for adults residing in both Scattered Site Housing & Project Based Housing. The HSSP is a specialized program that provides comprehensive and intensive field-based community mental health services designed to meet the unique needs of individuals in Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) who are formerly homeless and have a Severe Mental Illness (SMI) or Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED). The Assistant Director will monitor and support all administrative aspects of the HSSP, funder expectations, contract goals and outcomes to ensure compliance. The Assistant Director will also oversee and support the HSSP onboarding and training aspect of the program. The Assistant Director will provide administrative and clinical supervision if appropriate to staff, including Program Managers, Clinicians, and Clinical Interns. This position is responsible for maintaining the efficiency of operations while fostering teamwork among staff and across departments and programs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Senior Director and Director of the Housing Supportive Services Program, the Assistant Director is responsible for the following: 1. Mental Health (DMH) contracted HSSP and contract, including billing and contract maximization in compliance with contract goals and outcomes in a timely manner. Qualifications: 1. Master's Degree in the field of Social Welfare or Marriage and Family Therapy, or doctorate in psychology or related field; Licensure preferred. Preferred Qualifications: 1. BBS registered or BBS licensure, experience with crisis response and management, experience managing clinical staff, Spanish-speaking Work Environment * Combination of field and office environment EXPECTED BEHAVIORS OF ALL STAFF
