Plans, directs, and coordinates projects throughout their life cycle. The successful candidate will be skilled at managing multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring high quality and on-time performance of tasks.
job duties and responsibilities
Work with the Director of Field Operations to identify and obtain manpower needs related to assigned projects
Initiates, supports and participates in negotiations with prospective customers
Analyzes situations and develops plans, delivery timelines and schedules, etc.
Defines customer requirements and translates them into operational plans
Monitors and controls cost versus budget, plans versus performance and field staffing requirements
Analyzes effects of projects upon various operating and support areas such as Deployment Solutions, Engineering, Engineering, Purchasing & Logistics and Corporate Services to determine the most practical and cost-effective method to complete the project
Provides direction and guidance to project teams in the execution of projects including the formulation of contingency plans, such as schedule revisions, manpower adjustments, funding allocations and priority alignment
Communicates with internal and external customers as needed for project success
Ability to travel out-of-town as needed to assigned project sites

education/certification/job experience required
Working on United States Army Corps of Engineers experience preferred.
5+ years of Project Manager experience - state department experience
Ability to secure and maintain Department of Defense Security Clearance
Must be able to pass pre-employment testing (drug and background) and have a valid driver's license
