The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new business and maintaining existing customer relationships within the road marking industry. This role involves selling a range of products, including thermoplastic, paint, preforms, and glass beads. The position can be remote, with occasional travel for internal meetings and trade shows.

How You Will Impact Ingevity:

  • Sales Generation:Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, email campaigns, and networking.
  • Customer Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Product Knowledge:Develop a deep understanding of our product offerings and effectively communicate their benefits to customers.
  • Sales Quotations:Prepare and deliver sales quotations to prospective customers.
  • Order Processing:Manage the sales process from initial contact to order fulfillment, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Market Research:Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.
  • Travel:Attend internal meetings and trade shows (approximately 10% travel required).

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Proven experience in inside sales, preferably within the road marking or construction industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Ability to travel as required (10%).
  • This role is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship. The successful candidate must not now, or in the future, require sponsorship to work in the US.
