Salary: $70,000/yr.

$100/week car allowance offered by our client

Commission structure based on net monthly revenue, minus expenses (salary, insurance, expenses)

5% OF NET OVER $15,000

6% OF NET OVER $20,000

7% OF NET OVER $30,000

8% OF NET OVER $40,000

9% OF NET OVER $60,000

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative with a background in transportation sales, specifically in LTL or international logistics. This role will focus on covering Connecticut and/or Rhode Island, with territory adjustments made in coordination with current representative. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, driven, and genuinely passionate about their work. This position requires the team member to be fully in Windsor office each Monday and in the field or prospecting Tuesday-Friday.

Responsibilities:



  • Identify prospective clients through research, networking, and cold outreach.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships to understand client logistics needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve or exceed individual and team sales targets.
  • Present and promote logistics services, including freight, warehousing, and supply chain solutions, to potential clients.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity, providing regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
  • Work with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of client requirements and act as the primary customer contact.


Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with an associate degree or higher in business, logistics, or a related field preferred. Must have 3-5 years of proven sales experience within the logistics industry. Candidates should have excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team while meeting or exceeding targets.
