Job Title: Cybersecurity Architect

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 6 months (Potenrial for Extension/Conversion)


  • Position Overview:

    • Need architect exp working on projects doing architectural design, familiar with all basic security and cloud principles, identity and access management, general cloud experience
    • Nice to have exp with software as a service offering- SSO, SAMO. OIDC, etc.
    • What is different between mid-level and senior-

      • Enterprise type projects vs smaller projects.
      • Years of experience and depth.
      • Technologies used- Some skills in technical side that help transfer to doing the architecture side.




  • Must Have Skills:

    • Min Edu: Related bachelor's degree or additional related equivalent work experience IT related field or equivalent work experience
    • Min Exp: 4+ years related work experience (Progressive work experience in security technology design, architectures, development, and/or monitoring)

      • 2 or more years of work experience designing security architecture on progressively complex IT projects preferred
      • 2 or more years of cloud security experience


    • Cert: CISSP - Cert Information Systems Security Prof (within 180 Days if converted to FTE)
    • Need architect exp working on projects doing architectural design, familiar with all basic security and cloud principles, identity and access management and general cloud experience.


  • Nice to Have Skills:

    • Exp with software as a service offering- SSO, SAMO. OIDC, etc.
    • IDM Security Solutions
    • ForgeRock
    • OAuth


  • Interview Process

    • HireVue followed by Video Interview
    • 3-4 people in the video interviews
    • Great at considering candidates for other HM's roles


  • Candidate Feedback

    • Have great in-depth responses in to feel like thy have exp in CyberSec
    • No specific details on their work/projects
    • Need more on how they implemented using specific security technologies
    • Manager didn't feel the experience was there...too surface level responses


  • Action Items

    • Be sure resumes demonstrate in depth experience
    • Prepare candidates that they must be able to drill down into their experience and share projects, impacts and process with detail.

      • Give examples of their experience

        • Don't define SAS, but give an example of how it was used on a project with detail.
