PRIMARY PURPOSE CNA is hiring for a Principal Advisor, in the Energy, Infrastructure, and Environment (EIE) Program in the Resources & Force Readiness (RFR) division. CNA is a not-for-profit research and analysis corporation running two major business units, CNA, the Department of the Navy's Federally Funded R&D Center, and the Institute for Public Research. RFR is a division within the FFRDC. Our primary clients are the Navy and Marine Corps. We also support OSD and other components of DOD. Six programs within RFR address problems in manpower, personnel, training and education; energy, infrastructure and the environment; cost, acquisition processes, material and supply readiness and logistics; and health analytics and medical readiness. The Principal Advisor will lead and support large or complex projects related to CNA, work and act as a subject matter expert, recognized across CNA. They will apply specialized expertise in complex and high visibility projects and become a partner with project directors or managers by providing them advice that can help develop, shape, and guide projects.
