Community Practice Job Description
The Department of Community Practice is a vital service line within MUHC and the School of Medicine, playing a key role in providing quality care and operational excellence. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to assist the Department Director with a variety of responsibilities, ensuring the strategic goals of the department are met effectively. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills to support various departmental functions. Key Responsibilities: 1. Bonus Reporting and Calculations: o Run bonus reports and verify the accuracy of wRVU values. 2. Contract and Recruitment Support: o Draft and prepare contracts and recruitment paperwork. 3. Report Development and Presentation: o Assist in creating meaningful and actionable reports relevant to practitioners. 4. Budgeting: o Support the creation and review of department budgets during the planning cycle. 5. Financial Reporting: o Supply monthly financial data to the Finance team and address ad hoc reporting requests promptly. 6. General Administrative Support: o Undertake additional duties as assigned to support the smooth functioning of the department. Additional Expectations: * Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to streamline processes. About Us: The department of Community Practice at MU Capital Region Medical Center is a full-service health care system that encompasses a full-service acute care hospital, the area's most expansive clinic system, a state-of-the-art Cancer Program at the Goldschmidt Cancer Center, a hospital-based fitness facility, home health agency and the only hospital-based inpatient rehabilitation center in the community. The hospital has 100 acute care beds and 14 rehabilitation beds. Referrals come from our 140+ employed providers who staff a system of 36 clinics in an 8-county service area of 225K people. Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
Proficient in Microsoft Office Possesses an in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in the Finance and Business function and begins to acquire knowledge in other related functions Anticipated Hiring Range
Hiring Range: $58,573 - $70,000 yearly Application Materials
