As an Operations Supervisor you will oversee production activities and ensure the delivery of high-quality food products. Reporting to the Bakery Director, you will lead and develop production staff, enforce food safety and GMP compliance, and drive operational efficiency on your assigned shift. Key responsibilities include managing daily production processes, maintaining safety and sanitation standards, and fostering effective communication across teams.

Responsibilities:



  • Trains, develops and oversees production staff. Conducts regular on-time performance appraisals and gives continuous performance feedback and corrective/disciplinary actions, when appropriate.
  • Ensures that food and GMP practices are followed and employees are handling the manufacturing of food in conformance with regulations and company standards.
  • Ensures pre-requisite programs for food safety are in compliance.
  • Assists with the planning, direction and coordination of the production process to ensure a continuous flow of quality food that meet or exceed all requirements of the customer, company and regulatory agencies.
  • Ensures a safe and sanitary facility that meets or exceeds all requirements of the customer, company and regulatory agencies
  • Promotes positive employee relations through effective conflict management and issue resolution.
  • Supports the company by following policies and procedures and modeling behaviors for others to learn from.
  • Participates in the company's safety programs and brings safety awareness down to the level of the workers.
  • Maintains a variety of reports and records to accurately reflect schedules, performance, time recording, daily production, ingredient usage, package verification, and others as needed.
  • Ensures that established timekeeping practices are followed by reviewing and approving employee time records in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assists with bakery preparations for audits and regulatory controls
  • Participates in other projects and assignments as needed and requested
  • Follows rules and regulations to ensure food safety, quality, and legality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.



Qualifications:



  • A high school diploma or GED is requried
  • 5+ years of manufarcuring expereince is required
  • English and Spanish proficiency in Reading, Writing, Speaking
  • SAP, Microsoft Office Applications
  • Travel requirement:<25%

Salary Range:$70,000- $90,000
