Overview
The recovery navigator is a peer recovery specialist who helps patients access evidence-based treatment for substance use disorders with a focus on low-threshold access to MAR (medication assisted recovery), treatment programs, and harm-reduction, specifically those who are homeless, facing homelessness, and incarcerated. Nonjudgmental, energetic, positive, harm-reduction approach to assisting patients with Substance Use Disorder (SUD). Understanding of SUD as a medical condition and the role of MAR in treatment and harm reduction. Ability to use computer information systems, computer literacy, and knowledge of word processing. Ability to interact with patients in a culturally relatable manner. Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing.

Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this position is $17.12per hour - $27.73per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
