The Mobile Crisis Outreach Team (MCOT) is looking for a Mental Health Clinician to provide mobile mental health crisis services during business hours Monday through Friday. The Mobile Crisis Outreach Team is part of JCMHC's Emergency Services Division, is made of crisis case managers and licensed clinicians, and is based out of the Mission office but geared toward work in the community. The goals of MCOT include: ensuring the emergent mental health needs of Johnson County residents are met, resolving emergency situations by providing brief and intensive services, reducing clients' needs for hospitalization and law enforcement interaction when possible, and supporting client connection to services including but not limited to mental health care. This position is eligible for a shift differential specific to weekday overnight hours($2.00/hr), weekend hours ($4.00/hr), and weekend overnight hours ($6.00/hr). Johnson County has implemented a skill-based pay plan of up to $4200 annually for staff who have obtained licensure by the BSRB at the Clinical Level. Job Description The primary responsibilities for this position include: Job Requirements Minimum Job Requirements: Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Addition Counseling, or other Human Services field and Kansas Behavioral Sciences licensure* at the master's level in the area of focus are required. Requires a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Applicants who meet KSBSRB licensure requirements may be considered if Kansas licensure is obtained by time of an employment offer and licensure is pending confirmation at the time of employment application. Johnson County Government requires reference/background screening for all positions. Specified criteria may vary by Department/Agency. Preferred Job Requirements: Kansas Behavioral Sciences license at the clinical level and one year of experience in the area of focus is preferred. Physical, Environmental, and Special Working Conditions: All County employees may be called upon to assist other departments in a declared emergency situation. |
