General Maintenance Technician

• Inspect and maintain facility equipment daily, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, and perform necessary repairs.
• Conduct general building repairs, such as painting walls, fixing doors, and addressing floor issues.
• Repair plumbing systems, including leaks, sinks, piping, valves, drains, and toilets.
• Replace and maintain lighting components, including building, parking lot, and emergency lighting, as well as electrical outlets and energy management-controlled systems.
• Handle snow removal during winter, including operating a snowblower and spreading Calcium Chloride.
• Maintain and repair doors, door hardware, carpet tiles, and rubber base as needed.
• Communicate with customers and managers about work requests, parts ordering, and any delays, while ensuring accurate and timely paperwork completion.

• High School Diploma or GED and 4-6 years of related experience required.
• Valid driver's license is mandatory.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, along with writing reports and correspondence.
• Strong communication skills to effectively present information to groups.
