Description
The AAAS Center for Scientific Evidence in Public Issues (EPI Center) is seeking to fill a part-time, term-limited Program Assistant role. The role reports to the EPI Center Director and includes such tasks as managing virtual meeting logistics, including speaker coordination; updating and maintaining a database of EPI Center activities and metrics tracking; and supporting the Director in preparing funder reports. Approximately twenty-five percent of this role in also supporting EPI Center project directors on specific Center projects. The AAAS Center for Scientific Evidence in Public Issues (EPI Center) makes it easier for policymakers and the public to access relevant scientific evidence and information. The EPI Center brings clearly and strategically communicated scientific evidence on a select number of public issues to decision-makers so they can better integrate scientific evidence into their decision-making process. Additional benefits may apply.
