Overview:

HGA is an award winning architectural, engineering, interior design, and planning firm with a full-time opportunity in our Rochester office for a talented interior designer. In this position, you will collaborate with and be an integral part of the architectural and interior design team, supporting the development of the Interior Design efforts; performing all technical aspects of the interior design process from project setup through to construction administration; and assisting and participating in data gathering, planning and documentation.

In this role you will:

    Work with Interior Design Lead to develop the interior design solutions for projects ranging from workplace, healthcare, and other community and commercial buildings.
  1. Assist in creating design solutions with enduring impact through original insight.
  2. Research materials and concepts to advise and support design team on technical issues influencing interior design concept development.
  3. Collaborate and communicate effectively and professionally with multidisciplinary team members.


You will need to have:

  • Two or four-year degree in Interior Design or related field from an accredited program
  • 0-4 years of interior design experience
  • Experience using Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and/or other related graphic software programs is expected
  • Working knowledge of 3D programs such as Revit and Enscape
  • Experience with space planning and technical skills including 3D visualization, design detailing, and construction documentation


Salary Information:

The pay range listed aligns to the geography of the office for which this position is posted. Actual compensation will be based upon work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Individuals in this role working more than 24 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in HGA's robust benefit programs which include an annual bonus and success sharing bonus program, 401(k) guaranteed contribution, paid parental leave, medical, dental and life insurance plans as well as PTO and short- and long-term disability programs. Salary Range: $22.93 - $28.08/hour.
