The Senior Coordinator of Medical Education is accountable to support the daily operations of the Undergraduate Medical Education (UME) Unit and Deans. Under direction UME Deans, the Senior Coordinator is responsible for independently and accurately managing the day-to-day operations of the Unit. The individual is responsible for smooth flow of planning, preparation and execution of activities relating to undergraduate medical education. The Senior Coordinator of Medical Education will serve as a primary resource for all UME Deans as well as the teaching faculty as it relates to their educational responsibilities. This position works closely with the Senior Director of Medical Education and provides support for the timely, efficient and effective administration for all medical education programs. Performs other duties as assigned.
