Driver - Warehouse

Position Summary / General Description

We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Driver and Warehouse employee to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklift trucks, handling loading and unloading tasks, and driving company vehicles while ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements. Flexibility, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete appropriate safety training and obtain certification to operate forklift trucks both indoors and outdoors.
• Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials as required.
• Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring materials are handled safely and accurately.
• Work both indoors and outdoors, adapting to various weather conditions.
• Drive company vehicles, including larger vehicles, as needed for deliveries or other tasks.
• Pass a driver's license background check through the PA Department of Transportation (PA DOT).
• Assist in other departments as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute to the overall success of the team.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
• Work the required amount of overtime as scheduled to meet business needs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and medical card.
• Ability to pass supply current MVR.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environmental conditions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Prior experience in warehouse or logistics operations is preferred but not required.

Work Environment:

• This position requires working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Candidates must be comfortable performing physically demanding tasks and adhering to strict safety guidelines.
