Job Description:

As a part of the TPA Operations team, the Sales Developer, TPA-RFP Development partners with the Account Executives through each step of the sales process, helping them to resolve any concerns or questions they may have while processing, tracking and administering prospective new business opportunities as well as supporting existing business relationships. The Sales Developer identifies and creates lists of potential clients while maintaining databases for the TPA Sales Team.

Responsibilities:



  • Plan, create and oversee the development of sales presentations that speak to PMAMC's capabilities and position the company for new business growth and customer retention. Presentations will need to be creative, innovative and align with PMA Companies branding standards
  • Review and respond to Request For Proposals, identifying information needed to develop competitive responses. Responses are expected to be competitive, compelling and customer-focused and consistent with corporate norms
  • Work closely with multi-functional business partners to develop, identify and prioritize the various sections of Requests for Proposals.
  • Assist with the completion of final draft of proposals based on customer specific needs including Power Point Presentations for post-Request For Proposals meetings
  • Focuses on customer drivers and key concerns, PMAMC's corporate value proposition, and areas of differentiation in our products and services and successfully incorporates such information into Request For Proposals
  • Research and recommend capability enhancements and other business solutions to the Account Executives based on the industry standards
  • Responds promptly to all client concerns
  • Ensures receipt and completion of all new and renewed TPA contracts
  • Resolves all financial account balance issues, including funding issues, replenishment and outstanding fees
  • Resolves billing and collection issues for clients
  • Researches and resolves managed care billing and service issues
  • Completes other projects as assigned
  • Demonstrates commitment to Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, and apply knowledge of compliance policies and procedures, standards and laws applicable to job responsibilities in the performance of work.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in insurance or related business field is preferred
  • At least 3 years of relevant TPA or commercial insurance experience is required. Direct experience with workers compensation or other casualty lines is highly desirable
  • Previous client service or claims adjusting experience is preferred
  • Aggressive, self starter who requires little oversight and minimal supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Prior experience with graphic design is preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment which will require meeting tight deadlines, time management and organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to convey a clear message and creativity through presentations and responses
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple functional areas across the organization
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Power Point, Visio, Word, Sharepoint)
  • Some travel, albeit limited, may be required from time to time
