Sales Executive - Wisconsin

We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Sales Executive within the Green Bay/Fox Cities area. The Sales Executive is primarily responsible for new business sales in the middle market (groups of 51+ employees). By partnering with brokers and agencies, we create collaborative health solutions that solve our customer's problems. Through our collaborative efforts with our broker/agency partners, we provide effective consultation, creative design, and successful implementation of collaborative health solutions that are specifically tailored to meet the customer's unique goals for their health and dental plans. As a Sales Executive, you will be accountable for the successful sale of our products and services.

Required Qualifications:



  • College degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience
  • Wisconsin insurance license
  • Demonstrated group presentation, negotiation, and critical thinking skills.
  • Knowledge of basic insurance underwriting principles
  • Ability to manage multiple project assignments with short deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively at all levels within an organization, from C-Suite to HR assistants.
  • Must have current, valid driver's license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
  • Execution of a non-competition agreement upon hire
  • Strong writing skills to effectively communicate with clients.
  • Experience, knowledge, and competence in Strategic Selling principles, especially with C-Suite senior level executives.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Sales experience in the health insurance industry, with strong technical background in self insurance
  • Strong business background, advanced courses in business, marketing and / or finance
  • Health insurance underwriting experience
  • Strong numerical ability and reasoning skills
  • Strong verbal and verbal reasoning skills
  • Experience in quid pro quo negotiating techniques.
  • Prior experience in a team environment


Hours/Location:



  • M-F; Days
  • May work remotely but will prefer local candidates for occasional onsite needs. Will require travel across North-Eastern Wisconsin for onsite client meetings. Travel will commonly occur in 2nd and 4th quarters. This position will be housed out of the Green Bay/Fox Cities Wisconsin area.


Position Responsibilities:



  • Implement High Performance Strategic Selling Approach with new prospects and our broker partners.
  • Engage in Client Discovery by meeting with all key buying influences.
  • Identify the vision, goals and objectives of the client's health plan, and the role it plays in meeting their overall business objectives.
  • Identify and understand the problems the client is trying to solve.
  • Validate key learning's and understandings via the Vision / Goal letter communication process.
  • Create customized solution presentations that uniquely meet the client's vision and goals, and present those to the prospects in a clear, compelling, and convincing manner.
  • Understand the decision path and timelines and use the HPS process to manage the path effectively.
  • Close the business.
  • Use concept of 5 P's Planner and After-Action Review to continuously improve our processes
  • Manage the sales funnel.
