Job Summary PVCC is seeking a Fiscal Analyst Senior who will serve as a subject matter expert for position management, financial reporting/analysis, and for student business services areas. They will also provide support and direction to campus partners in matters involving position financial transactions, cashiering and policy interpretation. This position may lead other employees in the absence of the manager and/or director of the assigned area. Essential Functions 35% - Utilizes Maricopa Planning & Budget (MPB) system, Financial Management System (FMS), Student Information System (SIS) and Human Capital Management (HCM) system data to perform financial and statistical analyses and reporting. 30% Communicates, collaborates, consults with various college and district office departments on cashiering/financial inquiries, position management and payroll management; Provides training or consultation on compliances with Administrative Regulations or college/district policies and practices. 20% - Reviews, verifies, and ensures accuracy of budget and processes of hiring documents and payroll documents to include both faculty and employee payroll; assists in the development, submission, and monitoring of the college budget; 10% - Assists with cash management functions and related cashier recordkeeping. Providing consultation and advice related to applicable policies, processes, regulations; responding to escalated issues and customer concerns. 5% - Performs special projects and other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in finance, accounting or directly related field and four years of experience providing advanced professional financial analysis and support for assigned function of finance, payroll or budgeting related to area of assignment. OR An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered. Desired Qualifications A. Two (2) years' experience in enterprise systems such as Student Information Systems, Financial Management Systems, and Human Capital Systems B. Two (2) years' or more experience in cashiering/cash management principles, systems, procedures, and standards C. Two(2) years' experience using Microsoft Excel (Pivot, Vlookup), Power BI, Word, and/or presentation software. D.
