The Elrod Lab at the Aging & Cardiovascular Discovery Center at Temple University is hiring a highly motivated staff researcher as its Physiology Core Coordinator. The Center features a world-class group of investigators with vast expertise in cardiovascular science. This position will support and manage the center's animal physiology and surgical core and work closely with PIs, surgeons, trainees, and staff to facilitate small and large animal measurements of physiology and surgical models of disease. Reports directly to the Center Director and works closely with center staff. The Core Coordinator will be required to work full-time, in-house, (40 hrs/week) and is responsible for independently managing the small animal surgical/phenotyping core, including the day-to-day activities of all animal-related procedures that support all lab research projects.
