Position Summary
The WRTI Operations Manager oversees the station's daily on-air technical operation in collaboration with programming and engineering management. The Operations Manager manages the automation system for live and unattended programs, ensuring the delivery of programming as well as sponsor, partner, and public service messages. The position is responsible for the on-air production of station programs and the training of on-air personnel in the proper operation of audio equipment. This position reports to the Director of Technology and Engineering and is part of a team committed to continuous improvement in our broadcast processes and infrastructure.

Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

This position requires the employee to be on-site.

Required Education & Experience:
* Bachelor's degree
* A minimum of 4 years of directly related experience
* An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required Skills and Abilities:
* Must be able to respond when designated to be on call for the radio station.
* Knowledge of radio organizational structures, workflows, systems, and operating procedures.

* Familiarity with F.C.C. rules and regulations.
* Familiarity with broadcasting equipment and systems.
* Strong computer and information system skills.
* Demonstrated organizational and planning skills.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Strong project management ability.
* Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and projects.
* Self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft office/G Suite.
* Must be able to maintain self-motivation, goal orientation, and creativity in a 24/7 radio station environment.
* Must have excellent "client service" related skills and ability.
* Must be extremely detail-oriented and able to operate independently in the performance of essential functions.

Preferred:
* Experience with automation systems, experience with WideOrbit, Music Master, and Wheatstone
