Description

Job Summary:

The Plant Operations Manager has full leadership of all Operational functions related to the Water (Process Cooling, TCU, Chillers, Pump Tanks, Towers) business units. This includes but is not limited to all Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Inventory (SQDCI) performance; profitability of the business; all personnel matters (hiring/firing/training/promotion); customer interface; ACS sales team interface and Rep interface as appropriate; leadership of the business team meetings and other similar functions, leadership of the Engineering team(s); tight collaboration with the respective Product Manager(s). In summary, the primary point of contact for all matters related to the Water Products Operations.

Role and Responsibilities:



  • Achieve targeted Income Statement results for business
  • Oversee the Engineering activities in concert with the Engineering Manager (Quotations, Sales Orders, Purchasing/Manufacturing/Service/Aftermarket support)
  • Oversee Manufacturing activities in concert with the Production Supervisor (Achieve all SQDC performance)
  • Lead Business Team meetings for Water Products
  • Attend and contribute to S&OP
  • Contribute to CRB and major quotation opportunities
  • Be a key point of contact and technical/operational expert for customers on new opportunities, existing sales orders, product in field, etc.
  • Lead efforts, in concert with the Service team, to efficiently resolve any field or service quality concerns
  • Attend trade shows and customer visits as appropriate

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree from Accredited University strongly desired. BS preferred.
