Organizational Unit Overview |
The Division of Dermatology at the Brody School of Medicine offers outpatient general dermatology services, Mohs micrographic surgery, general cutaneous surgical services, phototherapy, photodynamic therapy, V-beam laser services, and cosmetic services.

Job Duties |
The administrative assistant serves as the primary point of contact for the Division of Dermatology. The individual will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Chief of Dermatology, 2 physicians, and clinical staff. Scheduling/coordinating meetings, purchasing, making travel arrangements, maintain call schedules, departmental & divisional leave clerk, and maintaining faculty time and effort are also included in the responsibilities of the administrative assistant. Additionally, the administrative assistant will provide support to the Division of Rheumatology when it opens and will work closely with our Finance department.

Employment in this position provides eligibility to participate in the
UNC Optional Retirement Program (

This position is not eligible to participate in the NC Teachers' and State Employees' Retirement System (

Minimum Education/Experience |
High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work. |

Previous office experience, preferably in a medical setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Products, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook. |
