Position Title: Production
Wage: $18.30-$23.55/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 5:45pm-6am QPS Employment Group is hiring for a Production role for a company in Juda, WI. This is contract to hire role. Production Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Remove cheese forms from brine to conveyor - Spray down/sanitize in between batches - Monitor automated cheese extraction process - Follow all GMPs (good manufacturing practices), and all company procedures and policies - Bag, scale, label, and prepare cheese for shipping - Place cheese black into air filled pouch - Complete visual inspection of package, remove loose parts - Rinse and sanitize equipment throughout shift - Ensure continuous flow of product and monitor proper positioning, spacing, sealing, and labeling - Setup, monitor, and troubleshoot equipment to ensure everything is operating effectively - Box and palletize Production Requirements: - High school diploma or GED preferred - Ability to stand and walk with frequent bending, twisting, and pushing - Repetitive lifting up to 50 pounds - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - The physical plant environment is clean, but sometimes cool/hot depending on department, wet and moderately noisy - Must maintain a high degree of personal hygiene - Must be able to read, understand, and carryout written procedures - Must be able to pass 7-year national background check - Strong math, reading, writing, and computer skills QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
